It has been announced that Japanese actor and singer Shibasaki Kou will be transferring from Stardust Promotion to Victor Entertainment. Additionally, she will release a new single titled “Aoi Hoshi” on the 27th of August.
“Aoi Hoshi” is to be a ballad revolving around a love so pure and strong, nothing is wanted in return. Shibasaki described it as a song that “wraps someone important to you with your strong and courageous feelings towards them.” This single will be used as an ending theme song for the new drama ‘Aoi Honou’ which begins on the 18th of July.
Furthermore she revealed her optimistic thoughts about transferring companies, “While laying out my worldview more actively, I hope to grow together with the new team.”
